This is ATF at their classic best, with their 80s lineup of Peter Banks, Andy Piercy, John Russell and Peter King. Energetic, powerful, no messin' — an album to keep playing and to pump up the volume on.

The album was recorded in ATF's heyday back in 1982, fitted inbetween tours with ELO, Queen and Van Halen. Sadly the band split up in 1983 and the album was never released... until now! The full story, with several black & white photos, is told by Joe Hazzard in the inlay card; but disappointingly, no lyrics written out.

I put it on repeat in my shop to varied customer reactions: some started dancing whilst others wanted to know "what that awful music" was. Yes, it's a question of taste, I guess: me, I'm with the dancers. If you're looking for gentle music to soothe your soul, look elsewhere; but if you're looking for drums and keyboards and rhythm to set your feet moving along with lyrics to rock your equilibrium, look no further. 80s new wave at its best.
